How much are Port Royal Club membership fees in Naples?

The Port Royal Club charges a one-time initiation fee and annual dues, both of which are set by the Club's board and updated periodically. Because the Club is private, fee details are not publicly listed. Contact Sue Boyle at (239) 776-2164 for the most current initiation fee, annual dues, food minimum, and any pending special assessments related to the new clubhouse construction.

Can you join the Port Royal Club without buying a home in Port Royal?

No. Membership in the Port Royal Club is parcel-linked, meaning it is tied exclusively to specific properties within Port Royal that fall south of 21st Avenue South. You must purchase a Club-eligible property and activate membership within 90 days of closing. There is no social, non-resident, or independent membership category.

What happened to the Port Royal Club after Hurricane Ian?

Hurricane Ian struck Naples on September 28, 2022, and the Port Royal Club's beachfront clubhouse sustained catastrophic damage from the storm surge. Rather than repair the original 1959-era structure, the membership approved a $100 million ground-up reconstruction. The new 62,000-square-foot clubhouse, designed by Hart Howerton with interiors by Champalimaud Design, is targeted to open in late 2026.

Does Port Royal Club eligibility affect home prices?

Yes, significantly. Port Royal properties carrying confirmed Club eligibility typically command a 15% to 20% pricing premium over non-eligible properties in the same neighborhood. Analysts project an additional 5–10% premium when the new $100M clubhouse opens in late 2026. Club eligibility is one of the most impactful value drivers in any Port Royal transaction.

Can you host a wedding or private event at the Port Royal Club?

The new clubhouse will include banquet spaces accommodating 150 or more guests, private dining rooms, and a beachfront lawn suitable for ceremonies and receptions.
