You have not “arrived” until you have arrived at South Seas East condos on Marco Island. South Seas East is nestled in the gated South Seas community, the only beachfront community with boat docks. The community has direct access for all residents and guests at the far north end of the beach. The South Seas East itself borders one of the island’s quietest canals, with indirect water access to the Gulf of Mexico via a short trip through the canal to Smokehouse Bay, then out to the river and on to the Gulf.
South Seas East is just past the private entrance to 601 Seaview Court. A turn to the right once you have passed the gatehouse and “you have arrived.” The east side of the community includes 280 units that are strategically positioned to make the most of this idyllic island setting. The units are spread across 16 buildings, three of which are seven story mid-rise, and 13 of which are two-story low-rise buildings. Long and short-term residents may enjoy either of two heated pools located in separate and equally expansive garden-like settings. Every one of the condo buildings has unobstructed water views.
Access to Marco Island’s many amenities and conveniences is simply, well, simple. If you arrived on the Island from the north, as most folks do, you will have passed the elegant Esplanade Shoppes on North Collier Boulevard, less than a mile away. In addition to fine shopping, the Esplanade features Tara Steak and Lobster House, Mango’s Dockside Bistro, and CJ’s on the Bay. If you eat, then choose to talk a walk before having dessert, you can stroll on over to the Cold Stone Creamery, which is also in the Esplanade.
All of the South Seas East condos range in size from 950 square feet to 1000+ square feet, providing a comfortable place to settle in the midst of an amazingly quiet and serene location. Marco Island Girl notes that the property offers covered parking, which, if you know anything about the south Florida sun, is an amenity to be coveted.
Tennis? Did someone say tennis? To say that South Seas has tennis courts would be misleading because most people would think that “courts” means “two” or maybe even “three” or “four.” We’re talking about nine. That’s right, nine tennis courts. For less strenuous types, there are two Bocce ball courts, and for young and old-timers alike, there are two shuffle board courts in our recreation area.
South Seas East has everything that a Marco Island condo should have to make your stay enjoyable, whether you arrive to visit for a month or more or you come to stay and call Marco “home.” Short-timer or long-timer, your walk to the beach is along a private, palm-lined walkway through the west side of the community. With no through traffic at this special location, it is entirely your choice whether to hide away on the property or go out into the island or onto the Gulf and the picturesque coastal waterways. South Seas East awaits you.
