Unbeatable Location

One of the nicest features of Pinehurst is that it is secluded, but it is not isolated. The “Center of it All,” the Marco Town Center Mall, is across the street at the intersection of Tallwood and West Elkham. The open-air mall features both casual and upscale shopping, several restaurants, and is anchored by a Publix supermarket. You might say that Pinehurst offers a “cloistered convenience” that is hard to find elsewhere on Marco Island.

Of course, there is the requisite private pool on the property. After all, this is Florida. Like anywhere else on Marco, the distance to the beach is short by any standard. About half-a-mile down Bald Eagle to San Marco Road, then another half-a-mile and you are at the public entrance to Marco Island Beach. And just because you are living more like a resident than a tourist, that doesn’t mean that you can’t do some of the tourist things. Boat rentals are available at nearby marinas, there are guided tours of the Ten Thousand Islands, and enough golf courses to keep any duffer happy.
